I am sometimes get discouraged at my ability to effectively witness for the Lord. I forget thought that it is my mission to share the word, and the message of Jesus Christ. The job of convincing is not ours, but the Lord’s. He will convict them with the Holy Spirit. The choice is theirs to make.

(John 4:42, NIV) They said to the woman, “We no longer believe just because of what you said; now we have heard for ourselves, and we know that this man really is the Savior of the world.”

We should share the Gospel, and be ready to answer questions (and there will be plenty of them). The final answers though, will come from God. Allow them to pray with you if they are ready then, but do not force the decision. Encourage them to seek the confirmation from God that this is all true. Explain to them that it will most likely not come from a audible voice or any physical sensation at all. Tell them that we must have faith first, and then God will reveal himself to us.
