I have aproblem with a pastor who came from Jamaica as an associate pastors of the church that God placed my dad at. I had great respect for this pastor when he first came. He came humble and showed great respect to my dad. Afterwhile, this same pastor started showing signs of disdain towards my dad and would openly disrespect my dad. Now my dad is not a fighter. He's a peaceful kind of guy. He's not the type to even defend himself. And I sat and watch this man disrespect my dad in the church where God placed my dad as leader. He even showed signs of almost wanting to take over. Of course the ministerial board delt with the matter, but I still find it hard to let go and forgive. Now this was probably about a year ago, but I still review the situation in my mind constantly like it was yesterday. And I have a hard time forgiving and regaining the respect I once had for this man. What words of encouragment do you have for me? How do I let go of this resentment, especially when I seem him at each church service? This is definety not good for my spiritual health.

Man, this is very true.i believe that i still have problems in forgiving ex-girlfriend and her mother for what was done to me! but God is good i am a better person now and he has shown His love to me. this situation made me into a powerful man of God! maybe one day they will say sorry but today i CHOOSE to forgive them for all the wickedness that was done to me.
