More Great Christian Video Testimonies
You have probably heard of YouTube, the video-sharing site that supposedly passed up MySpace in terms of share of internet user visits. I occasionally watch videos from Youtube that I see on websites of interest, but I have not perused their database until recently.
Have you ever been touched by listening to someone else’s testimony? There’s just something extra-special about meeting the person face-to-face and hearing their struggle and the victory that the Lord brings. If you don’t want to go around hassling all the members of your church right now, try Youtube.
Youtube has a whole slew of videos where people testify to the power of Jesus Christ in their lives. Building on that “6 degrees” post the other day, now we don’t even have to be a Christian web publishing guru, etablished ministry, or even a web nerd like myself to reach the world with the message of how Christ has saved you. All we have to do is find a friend with a video camera.
I highly recommend going over to Youtube and using the search feature to look for some variation of “testimonial” – such as “jesus testimony“, “christian testimonial“, etc. You can even add in modifiers like drugs, sex, etc. for more specific testimonials. Even better, add one of yourself if you’re feeling bold for Christ.

Yaaway media will be launched by Spring 07 and will be similar to youtube but will be a missional, values based, video sharing community.
We are hoping you can help us out. We are currently doing some preliminary content gathering for YaaWAY media. When we launch we need to have 5000-10,000 clips of content in the archives and your clips would be great. Then of course users will upload their own.
The dream is that this will become an effective online evangelism tool and a place where people can begin to find help. People who have questions will begin to find answers by way of video clips. More than just evangelism, if they have questions on abortion, social justice, drug addiction, family values, parenting, missions, helps, etc, there will be video clips for them to view that hopefully will answer questions.
The Gospel simply is the story of God written on the hearts fo men. Yaaway will be a space for peoples stories to be told.
