I’m typically not an “American Idol” watcher, but my wife got me pulled in last season to watch Taylor Hicks’ rise to fame. This year I thought, “I’ll stay away from Idol this year and get my Tuesday nights back… I can do it!”

This year though, Chris Sligh made the final 24. He’s the worship leader from the branch of our church over in Greenville, SC so I’m stuck watching it again.

So remember to vote if watch Idol… and especially if you like Chris.
